At Accord, we’ve always been committed to improving diversity and inclusion in the strata sector. We believe that talented and committed professionals, regardless of their gender, religion, and background, should be given equal opportunities.

That’s why we were very excited when presented with the opportunity to sponsor the Women in Strata (WiS) Christmas Party on the 16th of November 2022 at the Verandah Bar in Sydney—and we didn’t want to skip this great opportunity to reinforce our commitment to diversity and inclusion.

WiS has committed to donating all the proceeds from ticket sales to charities that support women and children in Australia. 

What to expect from the event

Amanda Farmer and her team at WiS have been working hard to achieve gender parity in the sector and have made WiS the leading voice for diversity and inclusion in the strata space and a place for women to learn, grow, and share invaluable knowledge. 

This year, the WiS Christmas Party celebrates the achievement of Liza Perera, Emily Doherty, and Sunitha Alexander, who were all appointed to leadership roles at three of the most prominent strata management companies in the region.

The event will bring together all the prominent strata managers and their teams in Sydney, including Liza and Emily, and hopefully Sunitha. 

The Accord team will also be present at the event and we can’t wait to connect with you and celebrate the advancements we’ve made as a community in 2022 with some great food and music.
